SURFACE TEXTILE DESIGNER

In the fall of 2006 my world opened up when I enrolled to the Textile Design BA program at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Since then I've been a part of several projects.

I've worked together with Mexican indigenous communities in the development and creation of innovative products and designs.

My work was exhibited at the Franz Mayer Museum as a part of a tribute to Marimekko sponsored by the Universidad Iberoamericana. 

In 2011 I was part of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Mexico fall-winter 2012 together with other talented young designers.

I worked as a fashion marketing assistant in Orient Craft for 3 months were I did fashion marketing.

I had the opportunity to do a 1 year exchange at the Fashion institute of Technology (FIT) in New York were I learned different experimental techniques in the textile field and was exposed to the vast creative culture that New York offers.
